In the truest fashion Grant here is the perfect foil to the antics
of Katherine Hepburn and a Leopard. its a great film and one of
its best scenes is pictured at right, here Cary is trying to explain
why he is in a Negligée.

With Cary Grant , Katherine Hepburn and James Stewart there really
wasn't a way this could fail. The movie opens with Hepburn throwing
her husband (Cary) and his belongings out the front door and then
moves to her wedding to her fiancé Stewart. Cary shows up
and everything gets more interesting to say the least.

This one is a scream. Cary lives with his two crazy old Aunts who
feel it is their lot in life to invite homeless men into their homes
and then poison them with arsenic laden Sherry. They have a loony
son who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt and disposes of the bodies by
unwittingly digging a hole in the basement thinking he is digging
another lock for the Panama Canal. As if this isn't enough Cary
finds all this out just as his neighbor and Fiancé is about
to come and visit, he tries to rush her out the door with this line.
Then theres the older brother who escaped from the institution...

Cary is the target of Mae West's affection in this film, and only
Cary Grant could talk his way out of her clutches. This is one of
two films he made with Mae West, and he does show that he has a
future as a leading man here

Although this film was made in the 60's I've decided to put it
here to show Cary's range of roles. In this Hitchcocks film he stars
with Eva Marie Saint and James Mason. It has as many plot twists
as any other of the Directors films and builds continuously to the
thrilling climactic scene on Mount Rushmore. A must see.
